The purpose of the Ebenezer Fletcher Chapter, NSDAR, is to promote the objectives of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) as we perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence by the acquisition and protection of historical spots and the erection of monuments, by the encouragement of historical research in relation to the American Revolution and the publication of its results, by the preservation of documents and relics, and the records of the individual services of Revolutionary War soldiers and Patriots, and by the promotion of celebrations of all patriotic anniversaries.
DAR is a lineage based, non-political women's service organization, whose motto is "God, Home, and Country." We promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism, as we celebrate the indomitable spirit of women directly descended from Patriots who played a role in establishing this great nation.
Our state theme "Preserve Protect Prosper" reminds us to preserve and protect our heritage while we educate our youth so America will prosper.
